Thank you for your continuing feedback on our games, including these recent comments from customers:
"Great work on Repton 3. Absolutely love the game. All the greatness of the original with better sounds, graphics and functionality. Especially love the new monster in the Encore levels." ... Luke Pebody
"You deserve the accolades on your web site - Repton 3 is phenomenal! It is completely absorbing, enjoyable to play and incredible value for money. In addition, the support offered by Superior is second to none." ... Sue McDonald
Turning the spotlight on Finale Level 2 (Triopolis) for some Repton 3 tips, this is a popular and enjoyable level (pictured above) designed by Tim Tyler. It can be quite tricky for a novice Repton player when encountering this level for the first time, although with practice this level is fairly straightforward. Repton needs to move quickly to the right and down to release one spirit from the bottom-right section of this level, then open the route to the cage at the entrance to the bottom-left section. On each Repton 3 level, the fungus is initially dormant, and it will not start to grow on this particular level until the time reaches 4500. There is more than enough time provided for the spirit to reach this cage without being impeded by the fungus.
We are launching a competition based on Ricochet, our novel and varied adventure game, which we published last month.
We will award a Superior game (of the player's choice) to the player who has achieved the best performance in the online Ricochet Hall of Fame at 31 December 2006. The best performance will be determined as the highest level reached; if two or more players are equal, the highest total score will be the deciding factor. (Our Repton 3 and Ricochet competitions are not open to the programmers, game testers or anyone else involved in the development these games.)
A helpful hint for Ricochet: although there are some red herrings included in the game, the spring and the balloon on the Fortress level do have specific purposes.
