Ricochet is one of the most interesting and diverse games we have ever played! Each level of this quest has been cleverly designed and constructed, with a variety of different puzzles involved.
The game commences on the Welcome level, which features occasional hints to ease the player into the action. This level is included in the free trial version of the game, and the screen picture above shows one of the Welcome screens.
Use the Welcome level to become acquainted with the game controls, which become second nature after some practice. You control Sprat who can jump around as well as being able to move in more conventional fashion.
Please visit our Ricochet webpage, or you can simply download the free trial version of the game by clicking this red Free Trial button:
Ricochet will run happily on most modern PCs, but please check the System Requirements on the Ricochet webpage before purchase.
The screen picture on the right shows the second level, Fortress, which is the first of the main large levels. On this level you will meet a scientist and a thief; and there are three savepoints positioned on Fortress.
A quick update of the progress of Repton 3: we are hoping to be able to release the PC version of Repton 3 before Christmas. It is almost ready now, and we will make an announcement in the Superior Interactive newsletter as soon as we have a definite release date.
Returning to our latest release, Ricochet, the screen picture on the left shows the final level, which is called Halloween, and includes atmospheric sound-effects and many scary adversaries!
The Ricochet Hall of Fame is ready and waiting for players who can complete any of the main levels (Fortress, TechLev, Derelict, The UFO, Ancient and Halloween). There is also a special Hall of Fame section available for players who complete the whole game from start to finish.
Ian Rees, the author of Galaforce Worlds, is a big fan of Ricochet, describing it with these glowing terms: "This is a great game, and the developer has done a really nice job. The game plays extremely well indeed and it looks fantastic - great graphics, full of colour! In fact I think it's Superior Interactive's best game yet."
There is a 10% discount offer on Ricochet up to Christmas, making the price of the downloadable version $17.95, or approximately £10. The CD version is $24.95 including UK delivery - that's less than £14 in sterling.
Please order early if you would like gift CDs of any of the Superior Interactive games to be delivered before Christmas.
We hope you all have a very enjoyable Christmas and New Year!
